The Medicines Search looks for the searched term at the start of each word in the Medicine, Active Ingredients and Company fields.

If you perform a search and subsequently filter by an Active Ingredient or Company, results containing that Active Ingredient or Company will be displayed regardless of whether the Medicine name contains the searched term.
